Problem

In informal feedback sessions, users who landed on empty bookmarks or compare screens assumed the site had glitched, with nothing to signal the space was working as intended.
Design Goal
Transform dead-end moments with brand personality.
Created vibrant illustrations paired with call-to-action texts to fill up empty states in user collection screens and loading screens.
Visual Concept
Dioramas of Classic Summer Scenes.
Each illustration is built from a consistent top-down angle, like a miniature diorama or a class project made from lined paper and school supplies, evoking nostalgia for daydreaming summer plans.
